About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the transportation technology sector. They're seeking an Inside Sales Representative – Level 2 to join their remote sales organization. This is a high-velocity, metrics-driven role for sales professionals who thrive on volume, urgency, and accountability.

This position combines inbound lead management with proactive outbound prospecting. You'll handle hundreds of customer interactions weekly, build your own book of business, and drive both new customer acquisition and recurring revenue expansion. The ideal candidate operates with extreme ownership, makes fast decisions under pressure, and consistently exceeds quota in competitive sales environments.

Responsibilities

  • Hit and exceed performance metrics including conversion rates, revenue targets, activity volume, and account growth benchmarks
  • Manage high-volume inbound leads while executing outbound reactivation and expansion campaigns to drive repeat and new business
  • Create tailored, accurate quotes using proprietary marketplace technology to minimize friction in the booking process
  • Execute disciplined call patterns to maintain conversion velocity and consistent follow-up cadence
  • Build urgency, rapport, and trust in every interaction; close decisively using confident communication and assumptive sales techniques
  • Identify high-value accounts and expand relationships over time, converting one-time transactions into repeat partnerships
  • Apply call control, objection handling, and active listening to diagnose needs and drive efficient outcomes
  • Use sound judgment and data analysis to prioritize activities for highest yield and stop low-value pursuits early
  • Maintain complete accuracy in quoting, CRM updates, and call documentation across Salesforce, Outreach, G-Suite, Slack, and proprietary systems
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership on post-mortems and performance reviews to refine tactics and improve execution

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years in sales, account management, or hybrid revenue roles with a track record of consistently exceeding performance goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a book of business, expanding customer spend and driving retention
  • Proven success balancing high-volume inbound response with targeted outbound prospecting and account development
  • Experience navigating multi-contact organizations and identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Expert communicator skilled in objection handling, urgency creation, and assumptive closing across diverse customer types
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, G-Suite, Slack) with disciplined follow-up habits
  • Analytical and data-driven approach, using performance metrics and conversion insights to guide activity and optimize outcomes
  • Comfortable owning end-to-end client relationships from quote generation through post-transaction follow-up and repeat engagement
  • History of competitive achievement in performance-based environments such as athletics, startups, or quota-driven sales roles

What Defines Success in This Role:

  • Extreme ownership: you execute without waiting for direction
  • Relentless follow-through: you pursue clear outcomes and don't allow deals to stall
  • High output as a habit: you maintain volume and discipline during peak and slow periods
  • Resilience under pressure: you handle rejection, ambiguity, and shifting priorities without losing momentum
  • Competitive drive: you aim for the top of the leaderboard and treat targets as non-negotiable
  • Bias to action: you prefer testing and iterating over waiting for perfect information
  • High intellect and analytical judgment: you process information quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
