About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology consulting organization seeking an Applied AI Senior Consultant based in Germany. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on translating emerging AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes within the healthcare sector.

You will advise health plan organizations on identifying, designing, and scaling AI-powered solutions across operational workflows. The role combines strategic advisory work, hands-on solution design, and delivery leadership—guiding initiatives from discovery through production deployment.

This position is ideal for an experienced AI consultant who can bridge business requirements, technical possibilities, and measurable value while establishing responsible AI practices around privacy, security, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted AI advisor to healthcare clients, helping leadership teams identify high-value opportunities for AI and automation
• Lead discovery sessions and solution-design workshops that translate operational challenges into practical AI use cases and adoption roadmaps
• Guide AI initiatives from strategy through pilots, implementation, production deployment, and continuous improvement
• Design and deliver AI-powered solutions for payer workflows including utilization management, claims processing, care management, and member services
• Develop solutions incorporating large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow automation, copilots, and agentic AI orchestration
• Define solution architectures that integrate AI capabilities responsibly with existing client systems and operating environments
• Establish governance models, human-in-the-loop controls, and responsible AI practices for regulated healthcare environments
• Evaluate AI platforms and technologies based on business value, feasibility, security, compliance, and ROI
• Create reusable frameworks and accelerators applicable across multiple consulting engagements
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and technology vendors throughout implementation
• Support business development activities including client presentations, solution development, and RFP responses
• Define success metrics, monitor outcomes, and communicate progress to technical, operational, and executive stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or solution delivery
• Significant recent experience applying AI in production environments with a proven track record beyond prototypes
• Direct experience working with health plans, payers, or managed-care organizations
• Strong understanding of payer workflows such as utilization management, claims processing, care management, or administrative operations
• Practical expertise with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow automation, copilots, and agentic AI patterns
• Experience designing AI solutions in regulated environments with understanding of privacy, security, HIPAA compliance, and governance
• Proven ability to connect business challenges with practical AI opportunities and translate strategy into executable solutions
• Strong solution architecture skills including integration of AI technologies with enterprise systems
• Experience advising executive stakeholders and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting consulting business development, pre-sales activities, and RFP responses
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, technology partners, and external vendors
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Comfortable operating independently in client-facing environments while maintaining focus on delivery quality and measurable outcomes
