Maintenance Technician-3rd Shift

Waynefarms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Texas - Palestine Hatchery facility, working the third shift. This full-time position is essential to keeping our equipment and systems running smoothly, supporting the daily operations that drive our agricultural mission.

About This Position

As our Maintenance Technician on the third shift, you'll be the backbone of facility operations at our Palestine location. You'll work independently during overnight hours, performing both routine maintenance and emergency repairs to keep critical equipment operational. This role requires mechanical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety—you'll be responsible for identifying potential issues early and addressing them before they impact production. Your work directly enables the rest of the team to operate efficiently during their shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify wear, damage, or inefficiency
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly, minimizing downtime
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all maintenance activities
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls during your shift

• Communicate maintenance needs and equipment status to facility leadership
