Join Waynefarms as a 1st Shift Palletizer at our Alabama - Decatur Prepared Foods Plant. This is a full-time position where you'll play a critical role in our food production operations, ensuring products are efficiently prepared, packaged, and shipped to our customers.
About This Position
We're seeking a dedicated Palletizer to join our Decatur facility's first shift team. In this role, you'll operate palletizing equipment and manage product staging in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll work as part of a collaborative team committed to maintaining high production standards while adhering to food safety and plant safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate palletizing machinery to stack, arrange, and prepare finished food products for shipment
- Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues to supervisory staff
- Maintain organized work areas and follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with production and logistics team members to meet daily output targets
- Ensure products are palletized according to customer specifications and company standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production line

- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly as part of the job
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating industrial equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a repetitive production environment
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain workplace standards
- Ability to work first shift hours consistently
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
