Responsibilities

As Mainframe Systems Manager, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day mainframe systems operations and ensure optimal performance and availability
• Manage mainframe infrastructure, including capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance tuning
• Lead a team of mainframe systems administrators and provide technical guidance
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application deployment and system integration
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience managing mainframe systems in production environments
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related mainframe technologies
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Expertise in system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
