Loyalty & Direct Marketing Manager, Philippines, Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization with a global customer base. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Loyalty & Direct Marketing Manager to lead retention marketing across multiple markets including Australia and the USA. This is a remote position based in the Philippines.

This is a hands-on role where you'll develop strategy and execute campaigns that drive customer retention, repeat purchases, and lifetime value. You'll manage email, SMS, and loyalty programs while working closely with an international marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with product launches, seasonal promotions, and overall marketing objectives
• Segment customer databases using criteria such as customer behavior, spend propensity, and geography to deliver personalized communications
• Create compelling email content including newsletters, promotional offers, and product updates
• Utilize marketing automation tools (primarily Klaviyo) to schedule, deploy, and track campaigns
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates
• Develop and implement customer loyalty strategies and programs to increase retention
• Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for loyalty program enhancements
• Design retention-focused communications to nurture long-term customer relationships
• Collaborate with customer service teams to improve customer experience and satisfaction
• Track KPIs including customer retention rate, average order value, and customer lifetime value
• Prepare regular reports and presentations communicating results to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with data protection and email marketing regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act)
• Manage budgets and implement cost-saving measures where applicable
• Strategically integrate AI solutions to optimize processes and improve operational performance

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in e-commerce email, CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing
• Strong hands-on experience using Klaviyo
• Experience independently building, optimizing, and troubleshooting automated flows
• Experience managing email and SMS campaigns from strategy through deployment and reporting
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, triggers, suppression, deliverability, and list health
• Demonstrated ability to develop email and lifecycle strategies—not just execute individual campaigns
• Experience using data and experimentation to improve customer engagement and commercial performance
• Strong written communication, copywriting, and customer instincts
• Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Confidence working remotely and collaborating with international teams

Highly Regarded:

• Experience marketing high-consideration products such as sporting goods, furniture, appliances, automotive, electronics, or travel
• Experience designing or managing loyalty, rewards, or referral programs
• Experience marketing to customers in Australia and the USA
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Experience with Shopify, Freshdesk, HTML, or CSS
• Experience working with designers, copywriters, developers, and merchandising teams

This is a full-time remote employment opportunity. The role aligns with standard Sydney business hours. You will be employed in the Philippines through an Employer of Record and receive SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG coverage, 13th-month pay, a minimum of 12 paid Philippine public holidays each year, and statutory employment protections and leave entitlements under Philippine employment laws.
