About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health and food e-commerce company in their search for a Junior Amazon Marketing Manager / Marketplace Manager. This is an excellent entry point into digital marketplace management, working with one of the largest and fastest-growing Amazon accounts in the German market.

Our client is looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and brings a balanced mix of creative and analytical thinking. You don't need to be an Amazon expert yet—what matters most is your structured approach to work and your willingness to grow with an experienced team.

Location: Mannheim
Work Arrangement: 2 days remote work possible
Start Date: January 1, 2027

Responsibilities

• Work within a major German marketplace account alongside an experienced team
• Learn marketplace mechanics including algorithms, sales psychology, and advertising systems through comprehensive onboarding
• Gradually take ownership of specific focus areas as you develop expertise
• Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, graphics, and product elements to improve marketing efficiency
• Write creative briefs for design teams based on test results and performance data
• Analyze search queries, customer feedback, and reviews to optimize product listings
• Collaborate with agencies and team members on advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including streaming services
• Perform regular competitive market analyses to inform strategic adjustments
• Support platform growth initiatives and contribute to marketplace strategy
• Help resolve time-sensitive platform issues as part of the team

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or similar field preferred but not required; comparable professional experience welcomed
• Advantage: initial experience in marketing, SEO, or marketplace management
• Highly organized and structured work style with ability to manage multiple focus areas simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
• Creative thinking combined with analytical capabilities and comfort working with data
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within a fast-paced environment
