Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking remote Afghani/Dari interpreters to join their network of independent contractors. In this role, you will handle audio and video interpretation calls on demand, facilitating clear communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across various professional settings. Responsibilities
- Provide effective audio and video interpreting services through web-based platforms
- Answer inbound interpretation requests in a timely and professional manner
- Deliver superior customer service while maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Adhere to professional codes of conduct and interpretation protocols
- Follow all client policies and industry-specific best practices
What We're Looking For
- Full professional fluency in both English and Afghani/Dari
- Strong technology proficiency, including web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
- Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise and distractions
- 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
- Industry-specific certifications or training preferred (CMI, CCHI, or similar credentials)
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional interpretation standards
