- Create repeatable best practices, tools, and methodologies in collaboration with colleagues to drive long-term industry impact
- Champion planning discipline and ensure project teams maintain focus on the schedule regardless of on-site challenges
- Document solutions to common problems and contribute to the organisation's knowledge repository

What We're Looking For
Essential experience and skills:
- Construction engineering background with solid capability in controlling cost, schedule, and change management
- Deep experience developing project controls processes and reporting that align with strategic project context
- Proven leadership as a coach and team developer, with the ability to build high-performing planning and controls functions
- Strong track record implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that created measurable positive impact on complex projects
- Excellent communication skills with the charisma, presence, and influence to engage construction teams and drive adoption of new approaches
- Experience working on infrastructure, data centres, high-tech facilities, or complex building projects valued between £1m and £1bn+

This role is not suitable if you:
- Prefer a low-challenge, routine-focused position
- Are uncomfortable receiving regular candid feedback
- Prefer to work independently rather than collaboratively
- Are not open to continuous personal and professional development
