HR Technology Consultant (Contract)

We are representing organizations across multiple industries seeking experienced HR tech consultants to lead selection, implementation, and optimization initiatives on a project or fractional basis.

Location: Remote (candidates based in FL, CO, IL, MA, NH, RI, ME, CT, GA, SC, NC, or TX preferred)

Work Model: Remote-first, project-based contract engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead HR technology strategy, vendor selection, and requirements gathering for client organizations
• Oversee system implementations including configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live support
• Drive adoption through change management, training, and stakeholder engagement
• Optimize existing HR platforms to improve workplace experiences and operational efficiency
• Enable reporting, analytics, and people insights through HR systems architecture
• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle, aligning people strategies with business objectives
• Apply consulting and project management best practices while maintaining accurate documentation
• Partner with internal principals and client stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Direct client-facing experience in consulting, professional services, PEOs, or agency environments
• Strong functional HR expertise across relevant disciplines (talent acquisition, HRIS, benefits administration, performance management, etc.)
• Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced, project-based settings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with an advisory mindset
• Comfort with flexible, contract-based engagement models
• HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI) or platform certifications (Workday, BambooHR, ADP, UKG, etc.) preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally as client needs require

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $50–$75 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.
