Fractional CHRO (Contract)

We are representing a remote-first professional services organization that partners senior HR leaders with companies needing executive-level people strategy guidance.

Location: Remote within FL, CO, IL, MA, NH, RI, ME, CT, GA, SC, NC, or TX

Employment Type: Independent Contract / Fractional

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to CEOs, Boards, and executive leadership teams on people strategy and organizational effectiveness
• Align talent strategy, culture initiatives, and operating models with business goals
• Guide clients through organizational transformation, scaling challenges, and change management
• Design organizational structures and lead workforce planning and succession initiatives
• Advise on executive compensation, incentive structures, and governance best practices
• Deliver human-centric HR solutions focused on improving workplace experience and outcomes
• Partner with stakeholders throughout engagement lifecycles to ensure delivery excellence and strategic alignment
• Maintain accurate project documentation and track engagement activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working directly with clients in consulting, professional services, or advisory environments
• Deep HR expertise across multiple disciplines with the ability to operate at the executive level
• Strong background in organizational design, people strategy, or executive advisory work
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, client-facing situations
• Comfortable with flexible, project-based work arrangements
• HR certifications preferred (SHRM, HRCI, or relevant platform certifications)
• Willingness to travel occasionally as client needs require
