Head of Regulatory Affairs – AI and P2P (100% remote)

Our talent team is seeking an exceptional Head of Regulatory Affairs to lead global regulatory strategy for cutting-edge AI and peer-to-peer technology initiatives. This is a 100% remote position offering the opportunity to shape regulatory frameworks in one of the most dynamic sectors in technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in global regulatory policies affecting AI and P2P technologies
• Advise executive leadership on regulatory risks and opportunities while driving initiatives to influence regulatory frameworks
• Lead or participate in regulatory agency interactions and advocacy work regarding relevant legislation
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, collaborative communities, and policymakers to shape the regulatory landscape
• Develop and execute regulatory strategies, identifying preferable markets from which to operate
• Ensure organizational readiness for compliance with national and international regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, legal, and compliance to integrate regulatory considerations into AI models and technology deployment
• Act as a thought leader both externally and internally, educating teams on regulatory issues, trends, and best practices
• Prepare complex regulatory documents and major submissions for regulatory authorities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a senior regulatory role within technology, AI, or digital industries
• Strong knowledge of global AI regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and emerging trends in AI and P2P governance
• Legal, compliance, or policy background with deep understanding of ethical AI principles
• Demonstrated understanding of decentralized, self-sovereign, and locally executed AI/P2P architectures and their regulatory implications
• Demonstrated experience working with regulators and government bodies in an advocacy capacity, with proven achievements securing favorable policy positions
• Expertise in preparing complex regulatory documents and executing interactions with regulatory authorities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Policy, Computer Science, or related fields
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex regulatory topics for non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones
• Experience in public speaking and representing organizations in regulatory discussions
• Strong team player capable of working collaboratively and independently in a hands-on capacity
• Excellent English communication skills required
