Head of Product – Care

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in their search for a Head of Product - Care based in Paris. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, where you will define product strategy for one of the organization's most critical customer-facing domains.

In this role, you will lead a team of five Product Managers across five squads, building products that serve customers, care agents, sellers, and internal teams. You will own the vision and roadmap for all care-related tooling, including agent desktop platforms, knowledge management systems, and workflow tools that enable world-class customer experiences.

This position sits at the intersection of product strategy, AI transformation, and operational excellence. You will partner closely with the Chief Customer Care Officer and care operations leadership to translate operational challenges into scalable product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a multi-year product vision and strategy for the care domain aligned with company objectives
• Lead five product squads, setting clear priorities and developing Product Managers through hands-on coaching
• Build products serving multiple user groups including customers, care agents, sellers, and internal product teams
• Own strategy and evolution of all care tooling, including agent desktop, knowledge management, and workflow platforms
• Lead AI transformation initiatives by identifying, developing, and scaling AI-powered products that improve customer and agent experiences
• Ensure care operations are considered in every new service launch, with processes, tooling, and customer journeys ready to scale
• Partner with care operations leadership to translate operational challenges into effective product solutions
• Balance and optimize key performance indicators including customer satisfaction, operational costs, productivity, and tooling effectiveness
• Represent the care domain at executive level and influence company-wide decisions through strategic narratives and data

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record defining and executing product strategies that delivered measurable business and customer outcomes
• Significant experience in product management, including leading teams and setting strategy across complex, multi-squad environments
• Experience building and launching AI-powered products in operational or customer-facing contexts
• Track record taking AI products from problem identification through experimentation, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement
• Ability to distinguish between promising technology and valuable products, with understanding of foundations required to scale AI successfully
• Experience managing products for multiple user groups and balancing competing needs across stakeholders
• Understanding of customer care, after-sales operations, contact centers, or other operationally complex environments
• Experience building products for operational teams with focus on usability, reliability, and workflow integration
• Strong comfort working with data and navigating trade-offs between satisfaction, performance, cost, and investment
• Ability to move between long-term strategy and operational detail seamlessly
• Exceptional people leadership skills with ability to develop Product Managers and raise quality of product thinking
• Comfort with ambiguity and organizational complexity, with ability to create momentum and alignment
• Fluency in English; French language skills beneficial for this Paris-based role
