Senior Logistics / Transport Service Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for a Senior Logistics / Transport Service Manager based in Bordeaux, France. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.

Our client operates a global marketplace with significant logistics operations spanning multiple countries and handling millions of parcels annually. As part of their Operations team, you will own and optimize their worldwide carrier network, drive strategic partnerships, and shape the future of their delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize a global carrier network with 15+ active partners across multiple geographies
• Lead annual commercial negotiations with carriers, driving best-in-class rates and service conditions
• Oversee carrier performance, delivery incident resolution, and logistics fraud prevention initiatives
• Supervise day-to-day operations for outbound and return shipping capabilities supporting seller-facing logistics services
• Track and report on KPIs for 10M+ parcels per year, identifying short-term improvements and long-term strategic initiatives
• Drive on-time delivery performance as a key metric for customer satisfaction and conversion
• Lead innovation projects for new delivery modes and return solutions, embedding capabilities into the broader ecosystem
• Develop and maintain strategic carrier partnerships that power logistics services across the seller network

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of experience in logistics, partnership management, and/or customer service
• Fluency in both English and French (required)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
• Solid knowledge of data and analytics skills with ability to track and interpret logistics KPIs
• Adaptability and openness to learning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Interest in an individual contributor / expert contributor role rather than people management track
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing vendor relationships at scale
• Ability to balance operational excellence with strategic project leadership
