About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for a Legal Intern to join their Paris office. Our client is a fast-growing marketplace with operations across multiple jurisdictions, requiring robust legal support as they scale their business model internationally.

This is a 6-month internship starting January 2027, offering hands-on experience across corporate law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional legal advisory. You'll work directly with senior legal counsel, gaining practical exposure to the day-to-day challenges of an in-house legal department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on various business law topics
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to e-commerce and digital platforms
• Participate in drafting and negotiating contracts and contractual clauses with service providers
• Support GDPR implementation and ongoing data protection compliance
• Develop and maintain legal process documentation to ensure organizational awareness
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation follow-up activities
• Provide legal advice to internal teams on consumption law, advertising law, environmental law, distribution law, intellectual property, competition law, digital law, privacy law, and compliance
• Assist with corporate governance structuring for a group with international entities

What We're Looking For

• Seeking a 6-month internship for gap year or end-of-studies placement (July–December 2026 academic year)
• EFB student and/or DJCE or Master II in law, ideally specializing in digital law, e-commerce law, privacy law, distribution/consumption law, or economic/competition law
• Fully professional proficiency in both English and French (mandatory)
• Additional languages are a strong plus
• Strong interest in policy development and circular economy regulation
• Prior internship experience in a corporate legal department and/or law firm
• Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
• Valid internship agreement from a French educational institution required

Internship Details

• Start Date: January 2027
• Duration: 6 months (until June 2027)
• Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week
• Location: Paris, France (hybrid work environment with 2 remote days per week)
• Contract Type: Internship agreement from French school required

Pay
