Head of Merchant Marketing, France – L6

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food delivery platform seeking a Head of Merchant Marketing to lead their French market strategy from Paris. Reporting to the Head of Marketing France, you will manage a team of 6 and drive partner-focused marketing initiatives across restaurants, grocery, and retail segments.

In this role, you will:

• Define the partner marketing strategy for multiple merchant segments, aligning global priorities with French market needs
• Develop creative campaigns and activations that showcase merchant partners and build brand preference through exclusive partnerships, launches, special events, and collaborations designed to acquire new customers
• Build customized marketing plans for strategic partners, balancing commercial objectives, marketing ambitions, and customer experience
• Serve as the strategic partner to commercial teams, understanding business challenges and transforming commercial opportunities into differentiated marketing platforms
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Promotions, Brand & Media, Integrated Marketing, Creative, CRM, and Analytics to create integrated marketing plans
• Manage and develop a 6-person team, providing vision, coaching, structure, and execution excellence to build capabilities and autonomy
• Drive performance through data-driven decision making, measuring campaign impact, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring flawless execution

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a marketing leader who combines strategic vision, creativity, and business acumen. The ideal candidate brings:

• 6-7+ years of marketing experience with significant experience defining high-impact marketing strategies
• Strong understanding of commercial challenges and how marketing can accelerate business growth and create partner value
• Creative sensibility and excellent brand instincts, with the ability to imagine campaigns that are both memorable and results-driven
• Proven ability to influence and align teams in a matrix environment, creating alignment around a common vision
• Successful experience managing and developing talent
• Strategic, structured, and execution-oriented approach with strong data-driven culture
• Fluent French and English required
