Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential facilities management organization in Potsdam seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician (Hausmeister). In this role, you will perform maintenance, upkeep, and repair work on buildings and technical systems. You will monitor the proper operation of building technology and resolve disruptions independently.
You will coordinate external service providers for larger projects and ensure quality execution. Regular inspection rounds, care of outdoor areas including winter service, and maintaining order throughout the property are part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will document work performed, report maintenance needs, and support technical facility operations.
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training in a relevant trade, such as HVAC technician, electrician for energy and building technology, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience as a facility maintenance technician, building services technician, facility manager, or similar role
- Self-directed and structured work approach with strong service and customer orientation
- Basic IT skills, particularly with MS Office applications
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- German language proficiency required for daily operations
