Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential simulation technology organization in Munich seeking a C++ / Qt Software Developer. In this role, you will:
- Develop and configure simulation networks and hardware/software components for training and simulation systems
- Program and extend simulation software using C++ and Qt under Linux and Windows environments
- Integrate network and hardware interfaces, perform commissioning, and support testing both in-house and at client sites
- Analyze requirements, coordinate technical solutions with systems engineers, and create architecture and design documentation
- Develop unit and subsystem tests while optimizing the stability and performance of simulation software
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or vocational training as an Application Developer, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience as a Software Developer, C++ Developer, Software Engineer, or Application Developer preferred
- Strong expertise in C++, Qt, and STL development
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and distributed software systems
- Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP), PostgreSQL, and Protobuf
- Familiarity with Cisco switches is advantageous
- Structured and independent working style with strong team collaboration abilities
- Fluent German language skills required for this position
