- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on terminology, cultural nuances, and procedural updates.
- Escalate complex situations to supervisory staff when needed, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Native or near‑native fluency in both Gujarati and English, with strong listening and speaking skills.
- Proven experience as a telephonic or video remote interpreter, preferably in healthcare, legal, or social‑service settings.
- Ability to interpret impartially while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Familiarity with interpreter ethics and standards such as those set by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) or equivalent.
- Reliable high‑speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the necessary equipment (headset, computer).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
