Group Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential ad tech organization in their search for a Group Product Manager based in Romania. Our client is a global leader in publisher monetization technology, serving thousands of web publishers worldwide through proprietary AI-driven optimization platforms.

This is a player-coach role combining hands-on product ownership with product leadership responsibilities. You'll mentor Product Managers while driving strategy and execution for a flagship ad-management platform powering over 150,000 websites globally. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide Product Managers, transforming the product organization into an outcome-driven operating model inspired by modern frameworks
• Evangelize the shift from feature-factory mindsets to outcome-focused product development, training teams to prioritize business results and customer impact
• Implement modern product operating principles including product trios, data-informed decision making, rapid prototyping, and assumption validation
• Define and execute long-term product vision for the flagship ad-management platform, integrating ad injection, targeting, and ad server capabilities
• Lead continuous product discovery to uncover publisher pain points, validating ideas for usability, feasibility, viability, and value before development
• Take end-to-end ownership of monetization strategy through go-to-market, prioritizing roadmap based on clear ROI and focus on LTV and MRR
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Growth to ensure successful feature adoption and commercialization
• Determine long-term business line needs including resource requirements, investment strategy, and optimal organizational design
• Introduce continuous feedback loops and structured retrospective frameworks to scale product management maturity

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3+ years leading or mentoring other Product Managers
• Deep practical experience working within a modern, empowerment-based Product Operating Model
• Ad tech, SaaS, or WordPress ecosystem experience strongly preferred
• Owner mindset—you treat products like your own business, diving into data and customer conversations to understand friction points
• Data-driven approach with courage to pivot or kill features when metrics show they aren't delivering expected outcomes
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts and product frameworks into clear value propositions for diverse stakeholders
• Experience coaching teams on outcome-driven metrics rather than output-focused velocity and story points
• Track record of building solutions that move business goals, not just checking feature boxes
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed environment
