Greek Music Expert – Song Evaluation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI research organization seeking a Greek Music Expert for contract-based song and lyrics evaluation work. This is a remote opportunity available to candidates in Germany, with an immediate start date and flexible asynchronous hours.

Our client is developing advanced AI models for music generation and needs native Greek speakers with deep musical expertise to assess quality, authenticity, and cultural nuance in AI-generated content.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with existing published songs to identify potential similarities and assess originality
• Rate and evaluate lyrics based on multiple criteria including quality, creativity, adherence to provided prompts, and overall originality
• Assess whether lyrics sound natural to native Greek speakers, including appropriate word choice, contemporary slang usage, and regional expressions
• Work independently on an asynchronous schedule to meet project deadlines while contributing to AI model performance improvements
• Provide detailed feedback that helps refine machine learning systems for Greek-language music generation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Greek
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• Professional experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist
• Knowledge of the Greek music scene and contemporary trends
• Access to quality headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training in music performance, music theory, or composition
• Credited or published songwriting work
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Greek music genres, sub-genres, and artists across different styles

Commitment: 20+ hours per week, up to 6 months duration, contract basis
