Funding Specialist – Indirect Lending

About the Role

As a Funding Specialist in our Indirect Lending division, you'll manage the lifecycle of indirect loans from origination through closing. You'll focus on processing, documenting, and funding loan transactions that support small business growth and economic development in communities nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze indirect loan applications, credit documentation, and financial statements for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare and coordinate loan documentation packages for approval and funding
• Process loan transactions according to underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with dealers, borrowers, and internal departments to track status and resolve funding issues
• Maintain detailed records of loan files and funding transactions in compliance with bank policies
• Identify and escalate potential credit or documentation concerns to appropriate staff
• Support process improvements in loan funding procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or banking experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with external partners and colleagues
• Proficiency with standard office software and ability to learn banking systems
• Knowledge of lending fundamentals or willingness to develop expertise in indirect lending
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and professional ethics
