Full-Time, Virtual Physician

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential telehealth organization that is expanding its nationwide provider network. We're seeking a board-certified physician to deliver virtual care focused on metabolic health and weight management. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates licensed across the United States.

You'll work with patients seeking prescription weight management support, utilizing a custom EMR platform to conduct consultations, evaluate records, prescribe GLP-1 medications (when appropriate), and provide lifestyle counseling. This role combines direct patient care with practice administration responsibilities, including peer audits and provider onboarding support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth consultations via phone, video, or asynchronous methods in compliance with state telemedicine regulations
• Evaluate patient records, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and make evidence-based lifestyle recommendations through a proprietary EMR system
• Provide high-quality patient counseling and answer treatment-related questions
• Follow clinical best practices and organizational policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation
• Participate in practice administration activities (~30% of time), including peer-reviewed audits, candidate interviews, and new practitioner onboarding through a buddy program
• Work 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts per week, including 1-2 weekend shifts per month

What We're Looking For

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (other specialties may be considered)
• Board certification in Obesity Medicine, or board eligibility with willingness to sit for the exam in 2026
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience
• Demonstrated telemedicine experience and comfort with asynchronous care delivery
• At least 10 active state medical licenses, including at least 1 of: California, Florida, New York, Texas, or Georgia; AND at least 1 of: Virginia, Kansas, Minnesota, Delaware, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming
• Willingness to obtain additional medical licenses based on practice needs
• IMLC licensed or eligible (preferred)
• Experience with weight management or GLP-1 medications (preferred)
• Bonus consideration for licenses in: Arkansas, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts

Pay
