Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking a compassionate Full & Part-Time In-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pets and their families across Taylor Mill, Kenton County, and the surrounding Northern Kentucky communities. This is a deeply meaningful role for a veterinarian who wants to practice medicine grounded in empathy, dignity, and personal connection.

About the Role

As an In-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian with Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you will travel to clients' homes throughout Covington, Erlanger, Fort Mitchell, Latonia, Taylor Mill, Highland Heights, and nearby Kentucky areas to provide gentle end-of-life care. You'll guide families through one of life's hardest moments in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, free from corporate quotas and without restrictive non-compete agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver peaceful, in-home euthanasia and end-of-life hospice services for companion animals
• Counsel pet owners with warmth, patience, and clear communication during the decision-making process
• Travel to client residences across Kenton County and surrounding Northern Kentucky communities
• Coordinate compassionate aftercare arrangements following each visit
• Maintain accurate, thorough records for every patient and appointment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
• Active veterinary license to practice in the state of Kentucky
• A calm, empathetic presence and genuine commitment to comfort-focused care
• Reliable transportation for home-visit appointments throughout the service area
• Ability to work independently while managing a flexible full-time or part-time schedule
