About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology client seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their team in Germany. Our client is building next-generation AI-native applications focused on bringing intelligence to everyday workflows with minimal user prompting.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be instrumental in creating the user-facing experiences that make complex AI capabilities feel simple and intuitive. You'll work on production systems that serve millions of users across mobile and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend systems that deliver AI-powered features to end users
• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Integrate with backend AI inference APIs to create seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance, focusing on load times, rendering, and interaction responsiveness
• Collaborate with backend and ML teams to define clear service boundaries and API contracts
• Participate in production monitoring, debugging, and incident response
• Ship iterative improvements based on real user feedback and usage patterns

What We're Looking For

• Strong frontend engineering fundamentals with production experience
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and tooling
• Experience building high-performance, user-facing applications
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML features into consumer applications
• Comfortable working with REST APIs and real-time data streaming
• Experience with React, TypeScript, or similar modern frontend technologies
• Understanding of cross-platform development (web and mobile)
• Bias toward rapid iteration and learning from production deployments
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a small, high-velocity team

Pay
