Freelance Brand Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking a Freelance Brand Designer for a remote project based in India. This is a part-time freelance opportunity where you'll serve as the architect of brand identity systems, creating cohesive visual foundations for real-world brands and products. Our talent team is looking for a strategic designer who can build scalable brand assets and act as a gatekeeper for visual consistency across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational brand assets including logos, complete visual identities, and comprehensive color schemes
• Create and systematically organize necessary variations of core brand elements
• Maintain strict brand consistency across all internal and external materials, including pitch decks and social media kits
• Build scalable, long-lasting visual systems that align with modern design standards
• Enforce design quality through cross-platform validation, ensuring brand aesthetics translate flawlessly across digital and print mediums
• Develop clear brand guidelines, style guides, and structured asset libraries for team use

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related creative fields (preferred)
• Strong portfolio heavily focused on brand identity creation, logo design, and comprehensive brand guidelines (must be included with application)
• Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for crafting and managing core design assets
• Proven ability to translate brand DNA across varied formats, from digital social media to corporate materials and print
• Strong organizational skills with experience developing brand system architecture
• Strategic, detail-obsessed mindset focused on long-term brand equity
• Self-directed work ethic with ability to troubleshoot independently and deliver high-quality assets
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above
• Availability for approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases
