About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B marketplace and fintech platform with operations across the US, Europe, India and APAC. This is a high-visibility FP&A role for someone ready to transition from investment banking, private equity, or venture capital into an operational finance position inside a fast-scaling technology business.

You'll own cohort analytics, growth modelling, and core financial reporting while partnering directly with the CFO, FP&A leadership, and go-to-market teams. This is an opportunity to move beyond deal models and learn how businesses actually scale: how unit economics evolve, which customer segments compound, and what board-grade analysis looks like when you own it end-to-end.

The finance function operates AI-natively, leveraging modern platforms for analysis and reporting automation. You can be based in Stockholm, London, or remote within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Cohort Modelling & Growth Analytics: Build and maintain cohort models across customer segments, product lines, and regions. Decompose growth into its components (new vs. existing, price vs. volume, mix effects) to inform strategic resource allocation.
• GTM Partnership & Commercial Efficiency: Work alongside Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to model pipeline dynamics, conversion rates, productivity metrics, CAC, and LTV by segment. Identify efficiency leaks and build business cases for hiring, expansion, pricing changes, and new commercial motions.
• Core Reporting & Cadence: Own monthly management reporting, quarterly business reviews, and board materials. Ensure KPI read-outs, P&L commentary, and company-wide updates land consistently and on time.
• Forecasting & Planning: Maintain rolling forecasts and the annual operating plan in partnership with department leads. Translate operational assumptions into integrated financial statements and run scenario analysis for leadership decision-making.
• Decision Support: Partner across cross-functional initiatives (pricing, market expansion, product launches, hiring plans) to build models that turn debates into decisions, then track whether reality aligns with assumptions.
• AI-Native Tooling & Process Improvement: Use AI platforms for analysis, modelling, and reporting automation. Contribute to data quality improvements across the warehouse, ERP, and BI systems, and help automate recurring workflows.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 2–4 years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or top-tier strategy consulting with strong financial modelling exposure
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including cohort analysis, three-statement models, and unit economics
• Solid understanding of how operational drivers flow through P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Genuine interest in moving operator-side and learning the business from the inside out
• Comfort with or curiosity about AI-native ways of working

Preferred:

• Exposure to B2B marketplaces, fintech, or payments-heavy businesses
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses, ERP systems, or BI platforms
• SQL skills or willingness to learn
• Experience partnering with GTM teams on commercial analytics or planning
