Field Service Engineer – Mexico Remote

Wabtec is seeking a Full-Time Field Service Engineer for a remote position based in San Luis Potosí, SL, MX. In this role, you'll deliver technical expertise and customer support across our service network, troubleshooting and maintaining critical equipment while building strong client relationships.

The Opportunity

As a Field Service Engineer at Wabtec, you'll be at the forefront of delivering reliable solutions to customers who depend on our products. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from San Luis Potosí while providing on-site technical support, diagnostics, and maintenance. You'll own the complete service experience—from initial troubleshooting through resolution—ensuring customers' operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Core Duties

• Install, inspect, and maintain equipment at customer locations, following technical specifications and safety protocols
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, documenting all service work and maintenance activities
• Provide responsive customer support, answering technical questions and guiding clients through troubleshooting procedures
• Ensure equipment meets performance standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and coordinate solutions
• Maintain detailed service records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
