Field-Based Business Development Executive – Bristol

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food-tech client in their search for a Field-Based Business Development Executive in Bristol. Our client operates a dynamic three-sided marketplace connecting restaurants, customers, and delivery partners across the UK. This is a field-sales role where you'll be the face of our client in Bristol and the South West, identifying and signing high-quality restaurant partners while driving regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurant partnerships across Bristol and the South West region through strategic outreach
• Conduct multi-channel outreach including face-to-face visits, calls, and digital communication to demonstrate platform value to restaurant owners
• Oversee the complete partner onboarding process to ensure efficiency and speed from signature to go-live
• Monitor restaurant performance during the critical first eight weeks to ensure long-term success on the platform
• Attend local food industry events and meet-ups to stay ahead of market trends and identify emerging restaurant talent
• Work towards demanding monthly sales targets while maintaining a territory ownership mindset
• Act as a city-level expert on the local restaurant scene and customer preferences

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B sales with a track record of targeting and winning new business
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure mutually beneficial partnership agreements
• Commercial acumen and understanding of marketplace economics, particularly in food delivery or hospitality sectors
• Exceptional communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and email channels with diverse stakeholders
• Self-motivated and tenacious approach to territory management with full ownership of results
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (required for frequent travel across Bristol and surrounding areas)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with autonomy and accountability
