Product Manager – SME Digital Lending

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential fintech organization operating in emerging markets, is seeking a Product Manager to own their SME Digital Lending product end-to-end. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive measurable growth from day one, with expected tangible outcomes within 6–8 weeks.

You will:

• Own the complete SME Digital Lending product lifecycle
• Improve risk models, approval flows, and credit decision logic
• Optimize acquisition and distribution channels to drive portfolio growth
• Balance risk and profitability through data-driven prioritization based on unit economics and business impact
• Collaborate closely with Risk, Data, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams
• Adapt proven international lending practices to local market conditions

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years of Product Management experience with a strong background in digital lending for SME or B2B clients. You must have:

• Experience working in international markets (Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, USA, UK, Russia, or similar)
• Solid understanding of risk frameworks, scoring models, underwriting processes, and portfolio metrics
• A proven track record of scaling lending products successfully
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple functions
• Highly data-driven decision-making approach
• Fluent English communication skills

This role requires someone commercially sharp who can balance growth targets with risk management in a fast-paced environment.
