Co-Founder & CEO – AI Native Recruiting Firm

The Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a venture studio seeking a Co-Founder & CEO to lead the buildout of an AI-native recruiting agency currently in formation. This is a true co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity—not a salaried executive position.

Our client is building a recruiting firm designed around a structural shift in how talent acquisition can work: AI agents handle sourcing, screening, and candidate evaluation, while a lean human team focuses on relationship-building, judgment calls, and closing placements. That operational model enables pricing at a fraction of traditional contingency fees without sacrificing quality.

This venture is being incubated within a proven venture studio with committed pre-seed capital, embedded product and engineering resources, and access to a network of investors and advisors across vertical AI and early-stage markets.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine the ideal customer profile, pricing model, and product positioning
• Lead pilot placements with design-partner companies and convert them into retained client relationships
• Build and execute the go-to-market motion from first principles
• Partner with the studio's product and engineering team to ship the initial product and iterate based on user feedback
• Lead the seed fundraising process, supported by the studio's network and early traction
• Recruit and lead the founding team, establishing the company's cultural foundation

What We're Looking For

• Prior founding experience at a venture-backed company
• Demonstrated success in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including consultative and relationship-driven sales
• Fundraising fluency with the ability to craft investor narratives and close capital
• Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
• Clear understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company
• Deep domain expertise in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition as a builder, operator, or agency leader
