About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Senior Software Developer Engineer based in Mexico. Our talent team is working to connect experienced software engineers with this exciting opportunity to contribute to internal product development and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features for internal product platforms
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing products
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Troubleshoot complex product issues and implement solutions
- Participate in Agile development processes and team collaboration
- Write clean, maintainable code following design patterns and best practices
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Deep understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- SQL database experience (MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle DB)
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Web services development experience (REST or SOAP)
- Proficiency with source code management systems (Git, SVN, CVS, RTC, or similar)
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ)
- Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
- Knowledge of observability tools (OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing solutions)
- AWS cloud platform experience
