Family Success Manager – US

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education services organization in their search for a Family Success Manager based in the United States. Our client specializes in international student advising and works with families across multiple countries. This is a remote position that plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships between families and the advising team throughout the college planning journey.

As a recruiter at Get A Job.ai, we are seeking a communicative, detail-oriented professional who can serve as a trusted bridge between parents and internal counseling teams. You'll be responsible for providing timely updates, thoughtful guidance, and exceptional support as students work toward their academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term, positive relationships with families, keeping them informed on academic planning and application progress
• Understand each family's concerns, preferences, and expectations, offering encouragement and strategic insight
• Respond promptly and helpfully when challenges arise, ensuring families always feel heard and supported
• Proactively suggest relevant services such as courses, mentorship programs, or partner resources based on student progress and future goals
• Collaborate closely with counselors and advisors to ensure services are delivered to fulfill family needs
• Integrate family perspectives when counseling teams develop roadmaps, application plans, and school lists for students
• Track key performance indicators including service completion rates, parent feedback records, and student engagement
• Identify service risks early and intervene when necessary to maintain quality
• Coordinate communication between internal advisors and families, ensuring messaging is aligned and delivery is consistent
• Share frontline insights about family needs with curriculum, operations, and product teams
• Collect feedback to support continuous improvement of the customer journey and enhance client satisfaction and referral rates

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above; background in education, psychology, communication, or business management preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in education services, customer success, account management, or high-touch client support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Calm under pressure with ability to handle high-expectation clients professionally
• Strong project management mindset and ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive execution across complex service plans
• Ability to communicate directly with international advisors and parents

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with U.S. or U.K. admissions systems or previous experience in international education
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Chat, etc.)
• Regular use of AI tools to enhance productivity
• Previous experience in college counseling, academic advising, or application support
• Optimistic and open mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Collaborative team player who demonstrates patience and empathy, building trust even in complex or high-pressure situations

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $40,000 – $45,000 per year
