Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a functional software tester with banking domain expertise. In this role, you will bridge business knowledge and technical quality assurance to ensure banking applications meet real-world requirements.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Analyzing requirements and developing comprehensive test cases and test concepts based on banking processes
• Executing manual and automated tests, documenting results with precision and clarity
• Supporting user acceptance testing directly with client stakeholders and guiding business units through system implementations
• Contributing to continuous improvement of testing strategies and introducing new quality assurance ideas
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, developers, and functional departments in a solution-oriented manner

What We're Looking For

Our client values candidates who combine banking knowledge with technical curiosity. The ideal profile includes:

• Completed vocational training as a bank clerk or several years of practical experience in the banking sector
• Genuine interest in IT and desire to apply your banking expertise to software projects
• Alternatively, existing experience as a software tester within banking environments
• ISTQB certification is advantageous, as is familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aqua, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or FitNesse
• Structured, quality-conscious working style with ability to maintain oversight in complex scenarios
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken

Pay
