EY-Parthenon seeks an experienced Senior Director to lead transformative strategy and deal management initiatives within our Financial Services practice, based in Topeka, Shawnee County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to guide Fortune 500 and mid-market financial institutions through complex business transformations, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic repositioning.

About the Role

As a Senior Director within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution division, you'll own high-stakes client engagements that span deal advisory, corporate finance strategy, and organizational transformation. You'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite executives, combining deep domain knowledge with hands-on execution to unlock competitive advantage and drive measurable business impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end deal management engagements including target identification, commercial due diligence, transaction strategy, and post-close value creation
• Develop bespoke strategy recommendations addressing client challenges in mergers, divestitures, corporate reorganization, and market entry
• Manage multi-disciplinary client teams and EY resources across strategy, operations, finance, and technology
• Build and strengthen senior client relationships; effectively present complex analyses and recommendations to boards and executive leadership
• Mentor and develop emerging leaders within the Financial Services practice
• Navigate regulatory environments and compliance requirements specific to banking, insurance, and capital markets segments

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategy roles focused on financial services
• Proven success leading deal-related engagements and delivering client value in complex, regulated environments
• Strong capability to synthesize data, build financial models, and communicate insights with precision and impact
• Demonstrated track record building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
• Excellent judgment, executive presence, and ability to navigate ambiguous situations with strategic clarity
• Deep knowledge of M&A processes, capital structure, and corporate finance mechanics
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
