Emerging Talent Specialist

Veolia is seeking an Emerging Talent Specialist to join our team in Great Wyrley, Walsall on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the development and recruitment of emerging talent within our organisation.

Role Overview

As an Emerging Talent Specialist at Veolia, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and developing early-career professionals who share our commitment to resource management and environmental stewardship. This full-time position operates 40 hours per week and offers a salary in the region of £32,500, plus a car allowance, annual bonus, and enhanced pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute emerging talent recruitment strategies and campaigns
• Identify and assess high-potential candidates from universities, schools, and other education providers
• Manage graduate recruitment programmes and apprenticeship initiatives across the business
• Build and nurture relationships with educational institutions to source emerging talent
• Support the onboarding, induction, and early development of new talent joiners
• Contribute to workforce planning and long-term talent pipeline strategy
• Coordinate recruitment events, campus visits, and industry engagement activities

What You Bring

• Experience in recruitment, talent management, human resources, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Proven capability to identify potential and assess emerging talent fairly and objectively
• Demonstrated project management experience and meticulous attention to detail
• Genuine enthusiasm for developing and mentoring early-career professionals
• Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in graduate recruitment and talent development best practices
• Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
