Confidential Employer is hiring a full-time Driver – Urgently Needed for our Berea Road, Durban operation, delivering medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and healthcare supplies across South Africa with professionalism, safety, and reliability.

About This Position

This full-time driving role is based in Berea Road, Durban, supporting our medical devices and healthcare logistics function. You will operate independently within our team, managing vehicle operations, route planning, and on-time delivery of critical healthcare products to clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and medical facilities. Your performance directly impacts healthcare delivery across the region.

What You'll Do

• Drive safely and professionally to deliver medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and healthcare goods throughout Durban and beyond
• Plan efficient routes to meet strict delivery windows and customer service commitments
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Respond to urgent and emergency delivery requests outside standard business hours when required
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
• Travel long distances as assigned, including multi-day trips where necessary
• Adhere to all road safety legislation, company transport policies, and cargo handling procedures

What You Bring

• A valid South African driver's licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Minimum two years of professional driving experience
• Proven track record delivering medical devices, pharmaceutical products, or healthcare supplies safely and on schedule
• Willingness to undertake long-distance travel and work flexible, variable hours
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliable vehicle operation
• Professional demeanour and excellent customer service orientation
• Knowledge of Durban geography and surrounding areas is advantageous
