About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Director/Senior Director, Strategic Solutions based in München, Bayern. This is a quota-carrying sales role focused on helping large enterprises navigate digital transformation through advanced technology solutions.
In this position, you will work directly with senior leadership at global organizations to identify high-value opportunities and develop implementation roadmaps. You will consult on complex business and technology challenges, requiring both strategic thinking and technical fluency.
Responsibilities
- Consult with enterprise customers to structure and implement digital transformation strategies that result in sales
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers to achieve their transformation goals and expand engagement
- Develop and manage strategic customer engagement plans
- Research and identify customer prospects and targets
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams to develop new offerings
- Drive business development with alliance partners
- Engage directly in strategic account selling, business development, and customer success activities
- Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time or more depending on business needs
What We're Looking For
- Degree in engineering, science, computer science, or related technical field; Master's or MBA preferred
- Prior sales experience in SaaS/product companies and/or management consulting
- Strong professional network that can be leveraged for access into potential buyers within large enterprises
- Experience with and understanding of AI and machine learning is highly favorable
- Familiarity with generative AI tools
- Work experience in consulting, defense, intelligence, manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare, or energy is a plus
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills in both German and English
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to understand complex business-technology issues and communicate them with clarity
- Track record of achievement in fast-paced, high-performance environments
