About the Role

As a senior advisor within FTI Consulting’s Office of the CFO Advisory practice, you will partner with executive teams to design and execute finance transformation programs that improve operational efficiency, enhance decision‑making capabilities, and support sustainable growth. The position is full‑time and based on‑site in Trammells, Harris County.

What You'll Do

• Assess current finance operating models, identify gaps, and develop comprehensive transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional workshops to define target operating models, process redesigns, and technology enablement strategies.
• Guide clients through the selection and implementation of finance‑focused ERP, CPM, and analytics platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Manage workstreams that include cost optimization, working capital improvement, reporting standardization, and governance framework establishment.
• Mentor junior consultants, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to the development of proprietary methodologies and thought leadership content.
• Maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on finance strategy, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Stay current on emerging trends in finance technology, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading finance transformation or finance‑focused consulting engagements for large enterprises, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, or financial services.
• Deep expertise in finance processes (closing, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax) and familiarity with leading ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing C‑suite stakeholders and facilitating executive workshops.
• Demonstrated project management proficiency, including scope definition, resource planning, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or corporate strategy roles.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
