The Opportunity
This is a full-time field position where you'll take ownership of occupational HSE strategy and execution. You'll be the point person ensuring that every operational area meets—and exceeds—company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Your work directly protects our team members and strengthens operational excellence across our sites.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities across assigned operational areas
- Develop and implement HSE risk management programs aligned with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Conduct routine site assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate occupational hazards
- Collaborate with operational leadership to embed HSE best practices into daily workflows
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and industry guidelines
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for field teams
- Maintain detailed HSE documentation and reporting for regulatory and internal purposes
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in occupational health and safety management or a related field role
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, industry standards, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to conduct hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and training skills to influence field teams
- Self-directed problem-solver comfortable working in dynamic operational environments
- Technical competency with HSE documentation, reporting systems, and data management
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to operational sites in Colorado and Utah
