Director, Corporate Counsel

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health organization in their search for a Director, Corporate Counsel. Our client is a mission-driven company working to expand access to mental healthcare through innovative technology platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal matters at the intersection of B2B partnerships and direct-to-consumer operations in the rapidly evolving telehealth space.

As Director, Corporate Counsel, you'll support both enterprise partnership initiatives and consumer-facing operations, working collaboratively across sales, product, marketing, and engineering teams. This is a strategic role for an attorney who understands how to translate complex legal agreements into effective business processes.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate B2B and enterprise agreements, including Master Services Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, reseller, referral, and vendor contracts
• Provide legal support for employee assistance program (EAP), employer, and health plan partnership arrangements
• Structure partnership offerings that extend consumer care models to enterprise populations
• Negotiate marketing, sponsorship, and affiliate agreements, including influencer and content creator campaigns, ensuring compliance with healthcare and advertising regulations
• Partner with sales and operations teams to design and operationalize new partnership frameworks, aligning legal, business, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure contractual commitments are supported by platform functionality and service delivery standards
• Provide guidance on data privacy, information security, and healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, FTC, and state-specific health and marketing laws
• Monitor and interpret evolving regulations and industry standards impacting digital health, mental health parity, telehealth, and enterprise wellness

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and active member in good standing of a U.S. state bar
• 7-10 years of relevant legal experience
• 3+ years of healthcare-related legal work experience
• Experience in B2B partnership landscape, including EAPs, health plans, and enterprise partnerships strongly preferred
• Background in healthcare or digital health contracting, particularly in models that blend enterprise and consumer delivery, is a plus
• Digital health platform and privacy experience is a plus
• Ability to provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative and adaptable mindset with focus on enabling business growth while maintaining compliance
• Strategic thinker who can operationalize partnerships and work effectively across cross-functional teams

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States. While the role offers remote flexibility, our client values occasional in-person collaboration and covers approved travel expenses for company-requested gatherings.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $175,000 - $215,000 base salary. This position is also eligible for performance bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, wellness programs, and remote work support.
