Director, Business Development – Get A Job.ai Life Sciences

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global language services organization seeking a Director of Business Development focused on the Life Sciences sector. This role is based in Paris and offers the opportunity to drive new business development within a dynamic, international environment.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in life sciences or localization services who can take full ownership of the sales cycle—from lead generation through to close and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to drive new revenue and close new business within the life sciences sector
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities through direct sales approaches
• Generate prospective leads via cold calling, internet research, networking events, trade shows, and direct marketing
• Present solutions through one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings
• Manage pricing, contractual issues, and client expectations throughout the sales process
• Coordinate daily project quoting, management, and billing with production teams to ensure smooth and profitable delivery
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Educate clients on available services and demonstrate competitive advantages

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of sales and strategic business development experience within the life sciences or localization industries
• Proven track record selling large localization technology solutions
• Strong ability to multitask and work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Service-focused mindset with a desire to exceed client expectations
• Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues, and business partners
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to quality delivery
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
• Strong financial acumen and sound decision-making capabilities
• Results-oriented approach with proactive problem-solving skills
• Fluency in French and English required
