DevOps Engineer

About This Role

We are representing a well-funded AI technology company in Paris that is building critical infrastructure for production AI systems. Our client processes over 100 million API calls per month and operates their own large language models at scale. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their growing technical team in a hybrid role based in Paris.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments, including Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, container security, observability tooling, and networking components
• Own infrastructure as code using Terraform and develop Python-based automation solutions
• Support engineering and machine learning teams with compute-intensive workloads and production infrastructure needs
• Manage containerized environments with focus on security, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability across distributed systems

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, S3, EKS, and ECR
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Datadog, and Python
• Solid Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and load balancing
• Proven ability to work effectively in both cloud and on-premises production environments
• At least one of the following must-have areas: ML or GPU workload experience, multi-cluster or multi-cloud environments, or security-focused/air-gapped infrastructure experience
• Willingness to relocate to Paris for a hybrid work arrangement
