About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology organization expanding operations in France. Our client provides innovative solutions that enable remote troubleshooting and optimization of industrial machinery, helping manufacturers reduce waste and improve efficiency globally.

As they establish a strong local presence in the Lyon region, we're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their newly formed French team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, bridging the gap between commercial objectives and platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to French-speaking clients, overcoming language barriers and accelerating platform adoption in the market
• Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Apply solution-selling methodologies to address specific customer challenges
• Support the sales process by demonstrating product capabilities and technical value propositions
• Work independently within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Propose innovative approaches to client engagement and problem resolution
• Collaborate regularly with the team at the Saint-Priest office location

What We're Looking For

• Bac +4/5 degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in a technical or solutions-oriented role
• Strong knowledge in at least one of the following: Automation, Industrial IoT (IIoT), or SaaS platforms
• Native French speaker with professional to fluent English proficiency
• Location within 30km of Saint-Priest for regular office attendance
• Valid driving licence
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Natural curiosity, team spirit, and ability to work autonomously
• Hybrid profile combining technical depth with strong communication skills
