About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential public sector organization based in Munich seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant. This full-time position offers flexible working arrangements including home office options and the opportunity to contribute to financial operations within a stable, long-term environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing invoices and credit notes, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
• Maintain debtor accounts and master data within SAP, keeping all accounting-relevant information current
• Manage receivables including clarification of outstanding items and follow-up on open positions
• Support monthly closing procedures and contribute to financial reporting and analysis
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to optimize accounting processes and workflows

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training as a tax specialist, industrial clerk, office management specialist, or comparable qualification in finance or accounting
• Minimum three years of professional experience in accounts receivable, financial accounting, or a related accounting role
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures
• Proficiency with SAP systems and solid Excel skills
• Structured working approach with strong team orientation and service mindset
• Results-driven professional capable of working both independently and collaboratively
