Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential simulation technology organization in Munich seeking a C++ / Qt Software Developer. In this role, you will:
- Develop and configure simulation networks and hardware/software components for training and simulation systems
- Program and extend simulation software using C++ and Qt on both Linux and Windows platforms
- Integrate network and hardware interfaces, conduct commissioning activities, and support testing both internally and at client sites
- Analyze requirements and coordinate technical solutions with systems engineers
- Create architecture and design documentation for simulation components
- Develop and maintain unit and subsystem tests to optimize stability and performance of simulation software
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or vocational training as IT Specialist in Application Development, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience as a Software Developer, C++ Developer, Software Engineer, or Application Developer
- Strong proficiency in C++, Qt, and STL development
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and distributed software systems
- Knowledge of network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, and UDP
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Protobuf; experience with Cisco switches is a plus
- Structured, independent working style with strong team collaboration skills
- Business-fluent German language skills required
