About This Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Berechnungsingenieur FEM & Strukturanalyse to join our team in Munich, Germany, Germany. As part of this role, you will be responsible for conducting structural mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize calculation models
  • Define boundary conditions and load cases
  • Evaluate results in terms of strength and durability
  • Propose technical improvements
  • Present calculation results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms
  • Support numerical and analytical calculations
  • Accompany tests and experiments
  • Contribute to the further development of calculation methods and material models

What We're Looking For

  • A completed degree in Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Mechanics, or a comparable engineering science
  • Experience as a Calculation Engineer (m/w/d), Simulation Engineer (m/w/d), FEM Engineer (m/w/d) or Development Engineer (m/w/d)
  • Knowledge of FEM calculation, simulation, and structural analysis
  • Practical experience with HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with relevant calculation guidelines and methods such as FKM Guidelines or VDI 2230
  • Linux knowledge is a plus
  • Team spirit, analytical thinking, structured working style, and proficient German and English (written and spoken)
