Consultant – Healthcare Data (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare data analytics organization with a strong international presence. Our client is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Consultant to join their analytical team in Hamburg or Berlin. This role combines hands-on data work with direct client engagement, supporting global healthcare quality measurement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop healthcare ranking and rating databases, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and scalability
• Collaborate on benchmarking projects and data pilots from design through analysis, working directly with healthcare clients as part of interdisciplinary project teams
• Integrate, clean, and standardize external datasets from hospitals, government agencies, and partner organizations
• Develop and document data models and scoring frameworks in alignment with analytical and technical teams
• Support the development of unified healthcare data platforms and infrastructure
• Perform internal analyses and reporting to improve data quality and product performance metrics
• Ensure data validation and reproducibility through peer review and quality assurance processes
• Contribute ideas for new data-driven healthcare products and workflow improvements

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, modeling, or applied statistics within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors in a client-facing role
• Proven skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), including dashboard design and data storytelling
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
• Understanding of healthcare KPIs, quality metrics, or benchmarking concepts is advantageous
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
• Highly structured, curious, and motivated to work in an international, cross-functional environment
