Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a field sales representative for direct client acquisition in Lille. This is a 100% field-based role where you will meet merchants in person, understand their needs, present tailored payment solutions, and close deals on the spot.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting local merchants directly: restaurants, artisans, independent contractors, and neighborhood businesses
• Conducting clear and persuasive product demonstrations
• Negotiating and closing sales in the field
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature
• Building sustainable growth in your territory through regular, structured prospecting
• Tracking your performance and adjusting your approach to meet and exceed targets

What we're looking for

This position requires proven experience in cold prospecting, ideally in a field sales environment. Our client needs someone who can approach prospects who are unfamiliar with their brand and generate immediate interest.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Concrete experience with cold outreach and field prospecting
• Comfort building trust quickly with new contacts
• Strong verbal communication skills, energy, and persuasive ability
• Resilience in handling objections and maintaining motivation in a demanding environment
• Autonomy, organization, persistence, and results-oriented mindset
• Enthusiasm for ambitious targets with direct impact on earnings
• Fluency in French and conversational English for internal communications

Previous cold prospecting experience is essential for success in this role.

Pay

The compensation structure for this role includes a base salary of €30,000 gross annually plus uncapped commission. At 100% of target, the total compensation package is €57,600 gross annually. Top performers have exceeded €100,000 gross annual earnings.
