Commercial Solutions Architect – Germany or France

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential database technology company seeking a Commercial Solutions Architect to join their growing team in Germany or France. Our client is expanding their European presence and needs a technical leader who can bridge business objectives with cutting-edge analytics solutions.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, guiding them through the adoption of high-performance real-time analytics platforms. You'll work at the intersection of business strategy and technical architecture, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable solutions for real-time analytics, cloud-native applications, and enterprise-scale workloads
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive solution designs, including architecture patterns, migration strategies, data workflows, and visualization approaches
• Engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels—from C-suite executives to data scientists and developers—to drive successful implementations
• Create proofs of concept and reference implementations that demonstrate value and accelerate customer adoption
• Lead strategic initiatives that transform raw data into actionable business insights
• Evangelize technical capabilities and drive adoption of distributed database solutions
• Apply consultative, solution-based approaches to address customer challenges

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience working with open-source software business models
• Strong proficiency in cloud technologies and modern infrastructure
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems
• Proven track record creating technical POCs that drive customer decisions
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• Technical thought leadership with the ability to bridge business and technology
• Bonus: Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Bonus: Familiarity with database programming and data modeling
• Fluency in German or French plus English required
